The World Wide Panorama Event, which began in March 2004, has become an ongoing series of events. Photography takes place on the solstices (longest and shortest days of the year) and equinoxes (day and night of equal length). The previous eight events have created a showcase of VR photography, with 1759 panoramas by 605 photographers from 73 countries. The topic for the final WWP event of 2005 – ‘ Best of 2005’ - offered all VR photographers the chance to send in their personal favorite image from the whole year. Over 300 responded, representing 46 countries. Below is a brief selection but, as always, check out the WWP website yourself to find your own favorites.
