VR Photography Conference by the IVRPA will meet in California, May 2007.
The IVRPA, the International VR Photography Association, has announced that it will bring a VR Photography conference featuring top VR photographers to the University of California Berkeley campus in May 2007.
In conjunction with the University of California Berkeley Department of Geography, the conference (20-24 May 2007), will feature lectures, workshops, and photo expeditions in the San Francisco Bay Area, Yosemite National Park, Monterey and Big Sur.
"California is one of the epicenters of VR photography innovation and practice, and we are pleased to present this conference", said conference organizer Don Bain. He added: "We plan to bring together photographers, web producers, and educators from around the world to share their ideas."
We are trying to keep conference costs low, and serve all the various parts of the VR community. In addition to lectures and workshops there will be local panorama expeditions (the UC campus, the Golden Gate, Alcatraz) and two longer trips at the end - one to Yosemite(waterfalls at their best in May), another to Monterey and Big Sur.
