CubicConnector 2.0 (discounted $69 US) boosts QuickTime VR tour making options
Click Here Design has updated CubicConnector, an application which links cubic format QuickTime VR panoramas into virtual tours that can be exported as multinode movies or HTML-based single node movies.

The new release of CubicConnector allows QuickTime VR tour makers to add maps to their virtual tours (based on QuickTime Sprites meaning that they will play wherever QuickTime movies can), sound that plays when a viewer enters a node, directional sound that gets louder when the user is facing a certain part of the panorama, and auto-rotation options. Version 2.0 also adds support for polygonal hotspots that can span the edges of cube faces, a common request amongst version 1.0 users, and options to add movie info annotations and full-screen playback. The software runs on Mac OS 9.1 or higher, or Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar.

CubicConverter 2.0 (discounted $59 US) adds a significant number of features requested by users during the past year of its release. It extends the existing version 1.0 capabilities

Viewing Zoomify content: Zoomify supports viewing using the Macromedia Flash Player (v6 or v7) for 2D content as well as via ActiveX, Plug-in, or QuickTime Component for 2D or 3D content (panoramas and object movies). Flash-based viewing is recommended for 2D content due to greater availability of the Player. QuickTime and ActiveX viewing is recommended for 3D content as these technologies support true 3D presentation. While Flash can present properly projected (undistorted) 3D content in animation form (many frames substituted rapidly) this alternative requires delivery of more data and provides interaction that can be less smooth.)
