STARRY NIGHT Twinkle, twinkle little star... by Danica Gianola An evocative starry sky, captured through the lens of Bernd DohrmannAlready when preparing issue 29 I had seen this pano and - to tell the truth - I had fallen in love for it. Bernd had contributed to the issue already with several panoramic images of Dubai, so I reminded Marco to ask Bernd in order to include it in the present issue. I'd dare say that the image of this sky is so much evocative that makes me dream and I hope you'll have the same feeling. Actually, when I watch it, it's like I could listen to Yeats' verses "Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths, Enwrought with golden and silver light, The blue and the dim and the dark cloths Of night and light and the half-light, I would spread the cloths under your feet: But I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly, because you tread on my dreams". Enjoy the sky and let yourself be captured by it! click here to view Starry Night panorama Photographer: Bernd Dohrmann. Where: On a frozen golf course. When : Dec. 22, 2007.
