AERIAL BALLOON PANORAMA
Up up and away!
by Danica Gianola

Up up and away: the world taken from 390 ft AGL

Oldest human flying invention, the hot air balloon is one of the most enticing things to fly (all along Larry Walters' lawn chair, of course!). Slow, lulled by the winds and basically old fashion, it permits to take interesting panoramic images, as Bernd's one shows.

Photographer: Bernd Dohrmann.

Where: 390 feet (118 meters) high over northern germany.

When : July 23rd 2007.

Why: The wish to realize a dream, making a full 360° sphere pano outside a flying hot air balloon over his home.

Details: Canon 400D with Sigam 8mm/F3,5 on a monopod and a selfmade nodalpointadapter.
Stitched with PtGui and some manual retouching in PhotoShop CS2 by layered files.
