National Geographic '360-degree Video'
From Andy Alpern: National Geographic did an interesting video shoot with a 'theoretically' (one of the cameras didn't work) 360 degree video 'pod' with eight cameras. They didn't make a QTVR video but it seems like a perfect thing. They got internal shots of a tornado!

Panorama feature in the German "PC Magazin"
The current issue (February 2006) of German-language "PC Magazin" features an article on panoramic photography. On the magazine's DVD there are ten high-resolution panoramas by panoramas.dk. Matthias Taugwalder thoughtfully translated part of the article into English.

Medecin San Frontieres Now Using Panoramas
MSF is now using 360-degree panoramas of some of its international sites (UK, Austria, Germany, Norway and www.msf.org), featuring Mickael Therer’s QTVRs from his visit to Mali. Therer believes this is “very good news for the whole community with such an international organization starting to endorse QTVR media and help narrow the gap between photography and QTVR.
