NEED FOR SPEED MOST WANTED
Panoramas shot inside the game Need for Speed Most Wanted are now online at panogames.com
by Johnny Vaccaro

Release Date: November 2005, Electronic Arts

We have reviewed the greatest racing titles out there, GTR and GT Legends, with hyper-realistic physics and car handling. Another great title that is the basis of GTR and GT Legends, called rFactor, will be added in the future.

Storyline: There’s no storyline to speak of but there is a blacklist consisting of the top 15 drivers, all of whom you have to beat to move up in the rankings.

Although Need for Speed: Most Wanted is not a real race sim, the extremely detailed environment and how the rendering engine matches to all those given polygons fascinated us. Combine this with the great characters and chases (drag, circuit, speed trap, etc.) and you have a game that is fun and intense. Outstanding sound effects, sharp graphics and the very welcome addition of cops, which injects a new excitement into the game, make NSF:Most Wanted very very addictive.

Most Wanted is what NSF: Underground should have been; in fact, it’s a culmination of the best parts of the entire franchise. So, once again I donned my photographer’s guise to shoot five panoramas inside the game, available in three formats: QTVR fullscreen (recommended), QTVR medium and Java.

On another note, we are happy to report that Panogames.com has been approached by some of the major gaming developers to do our ‘inside the game’ panoramas for new releases. We can’t reveal any more now but check back in 2006 to preview some exciting new titles!

Hope 2006 will be a panoyear!....;)
