Hotel Monte Rosa is part of the Seiler Hotel group. The original Seiler Hotel is erected on the foundations of the legendary "Lauber Inn", which established Zermatt’s hotel keeping in 1839. In 1855 Alexander Seiler opened the Hotel Monte Rosa here, in the centre of the village.
