GRAND HOTEL DES BAINS

Riccione is a busy seaside resort of 35,000 on the Adriatic coast in the Italian region of Emilia Romagna in central Italy. Favored with a year-round mild climate and populated with theme parks, beaches, restaurants discos and nightclubs, the city attracts a mainly European crowd and has been a popular holiday destination for the past 150 years. The main attractions for the annual 3.5 million visitors are the 6 km of sandy beach; nearly 100 restaurants, from tiny seafront bars to elegant cafes; and a number of theme parks.
The only 5 star hotel in town is the elegant Hotel Des Bains. It is strategically located in the heart of Riccione – only 100 metres from the beach and 150 metres from the prestigious shopping street Viale Ceccarini.
The hotel was built in the late 1800s and underwent a complete renovation in 1989, while retaining its refined and classical charm. The current atmosphere is reminiscent of the 1920s, when the hotel was frequented by European aristocracy, but is also has shades of the Italian tourists who enjoyed it the 1950s.
And of course, the hotel is technologically current and offers interested travelers a virtual tour of its premises online, where they can view the guest rooms, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, spa and fitness center, and two restaurants, and make reservations.
Riccione is located 4 km south of Rimini, 60 km from Ravenna, 35 km from the republic of San Marino, 350 km from Milan and 450 km from Rome.
