RAPELLI REVIEW

We would like to draw your attention to another company utilizing virtual tours on its corporate website. Rapelli, a Swiss company based in the Italian canton of Ticino, is well known within Switzerland for its Rapelli and Ticinella brands. It is the leading producer of high-quality salami, prosciutto, mortadella and other specialities.

In 1998, the company opened a new production plant in Stabio. Its corporate website links to a special page where visitors can view a collection of 19 VRs that showcase all aspects of the plant and meat processing done inside, including salami preparation and stuffing, raw products, and the mortadella oven.

Although such VRs might not appeal to a wide audience, it is obvious that the company takes it reputation for high quality seriously. The VRs reveal an extremely high level of cleanliness and sanitation throughout this well-organized plant where everything looks sparkling clean. That old saying - if you want to enjoy eating your sausages you should never view how they are made - does not apply here!
