THEIR CIRCULAR LIFE
A creative website with a unique view on life.
by Michelle Bienias

This is an unusual site with a unique perspective on life. Powered with Flash technology, it takes a few minutes to load but is worth the wait. The viewer has a choice of two locations: the Modena railway station and a canal in Venice. As the viewer moves the curser around the circle, the photo changes, reflecting the life and sounds at this particular location over a 24-hour period. It makes one realize how any particular location has an ephemeral life and ambience, changing throughout the day depending upon the people that habituate it. The sound is integral to the viewing experience, so turn up your volume and enjoy.

If you like the concept and wish to try it out for yourself, the site has made their project open source. You can download their FLA files and edit them with your own photos and sound effects. For more information, check out the site.
